Over the course of the past decade, Dash has made quite the name for itself. Established in 2010, Dash began as a brand that wanted to shake up the world of small kitchen appliances. Known for their exciting colors, unique sizes, and appeal to a younger audience, Dash has also made a name for themselves for quality merchandise. Not only are these kitchen appliances durable for the price, but they’re also easy to use and easy to clean.

When it comes to Dash kitchen appliances I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised with their quality and ease of use. Is this a brand I would gravitate to for every kitchen gadget need? Probably not. But are Dash kitchen appliances great for the times you just want to add a quirky kitchen gadget to your kitchen? Absolutely. But wait! It’s not only good for cooking rice. You can also steam seafood and veggies and it doubles as the perfect cooker/warmer for your favorite dips. Want to see how it compares to other rice cookers? The Dash Electric Griddle has a durable nonstick surface that keeps all types of food from sticking as long as you use the correct utensils on it (read my list of The Best Spatulas to choose the right one). My only complaint with this griddle is that you scratch the surface it does become quite difficult to clean. Do you have clutter in your cooking space? Weighing in at only 5 pounds, this stand mixer is easy to store away when you’re not using it. It comes with a 3.5 quart stainless steel bowl, dough hooks, beaters, and an easy user manual/recipe guide. It has five different mixing speeds to make this the perfect mixer for any baking job you may have. Worried you won’t have enough counter space or use this very often? This tiny single serving pie maker is the perfect small footprint to store when you’re not using it. If making healthy popcorn is what you’re striving for, you’ll be delighted to know that this popcorn popper uses hot air to pop the kernels instead of hot oils. The truth about this mini toaster oven is, if you’re wanting to toast a piece or two of bread or reheat something without using your microwave, this is quite efficient. However, the functionality stops there. There is a turn dial that allows you to adjust the temperature level and a cooking tray for easy cleanup. Unfortunately, when I think of a toaster oven, I think of being able to reheat meal-sized portions or things I don’t want to heat up my whole oven for. While the Dash Mini Toaster Oven does this, it’s simply too small to be practical for frequent use. The only complaint I have with this Dash hand mixer is the length of the beaters. Since it is a compact model, they are quite short and have difficulty reaching the bottom of my deeper mixing bowls. For anyone that has a small cooking space, does a lot of traveling in an RV, or loves the allure of a gadget specially made for one of their favorite foods, Dash kitchen appliances are perfect for you.
