Ingredients: 1 cup old fashioned oats1 cup water1 cup almond milk (am using vanilla flavor) ½ tablespoon sugar or to taste (am using brown sugar)pinch of saltpinch of cinnamon or nutmeg powder (optional)1 medium sized banana½ cup of blueberries2 tablespoon chopped walnuts1 tablespoon chopped almonds Method:  In a vessel, mix oats, milk, water and half banana and cook on medium heat. Keep stirring the oats intermittently while cooking to ensure they don’t stick to the vessel.Add salt, sugar and cinnamon powder and stir. Once the oats are done and the whole mixture turns creamy (approximately 5-7 mins ) turn off the gas. Transfer the cooked oatmeal in to serving bowls and top with banana, blueberries, almonds and walnuts.  Notes:

I prefer almond milk with my oatmeal but you can also use regular milk or any milk of your choice. Just add a drop of vanilla essence to the oatmeal. I didnt as mine was vanilla flavored.
