This is a classic instance of taking something lovely–like biscuits—making them even better–by adding cheese. And THEN, just because you are so extra, cooking them in an air fryer so that you don’t heat up a full-size oven or your kitchen. If you love cheese as much as I do, these air fryer cheese biscuits are the perfect recipe for you. I’m obsessed with cheese and anything with a cheesy flavor. It’s especially amazing when a recipe is not only easy to prepare but also quick to cook. I’m pretty sure I’ve made these countless times because they are so easy to toss together that they make a great go-to recipe for a delicious side or snack. These air fryer biscuits can be addicting which means it’s not hard to eat a lot of them. I’ve caught myself nibbling even while putting them together.

Why You Should Make Air Fryer Biscuits

Isn’t the air fryer amazing and versatile with all it can cook and do? I’m still amazed at all the recipes I can throw in the air fryer and then get amazed one more time when I pull that recipe out and it’s even better than before. These Cheese Biscuits were very savory and had a slight crisp to the outside of them. These aren’t like cheese curds where they’re a ball of cheese fried. These are more bread-like, kind of like a mini cheesy roll of sorts. However you like to describe them, they’re delicious.

How To Make Air Fryer Biscuits

This cheese biscuits recipe is so incredibly simple and you’ll love that you don’t have to wait for your whole oven to preheat before you can start baking! Here’s how you do it:

Tips and Tricks for Making these Air Fryer Biscuits

Use cold butter to get the lightest texture for these biscuits. You are essentially making a quick pastry dough to put these together. If you want to freeze these I would suggest that you bake them first and then freeze them. Alternatively, you can form them into the little biscuits and put them on a cookie sheet and freeze them that way. Once they’re frozen, put them in a ziptop bag and freeze. You can bake them from frozen, but you may have to add a minute or two to the total baking time. If you plan to make these in the oven, try 350F for 12 minutes as a starting point.

Do Cheese Biscuits Need To Be Refrigerated?

If you’re planning on making enough cheese biscuits for leftovers, you may want to refrigerate them in an air-tight container. However, if you’re planning on using them as a side dish or a quick snack between meals, they are safe to store at room temperature for up to three days.

Can You Cook Canned Biscuits In An Air Fryer?

Yes, you can absolutely cook canned biscuits in your air fryer, but with these amazing Keto Cheesy Biscuits, why would you want to? The flavor in these is absolutely amazing and they take just a few more minutes than canned biscuits to throw together.
